The car manufacturer Mahindra is gearing up for the launch of XUV 7XO, which is a facelift version of the XUV700. This updated model is expected to launch in the Indian market between April and October 2025.
Expected Features
The XUV 7XO is anticipated to incorporate several enhancements over its predecessor:
Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS): With a basis of the current Level 2 ADAS, the new model could offer such options as adaptive cruise, lane keeping assist, and autonomous emergency braking, thus giving extra safety and comfort to the driver during a trip.
Interior Upgrades: It means there could be a change of the interior and optimum four-display propositions that could involve having two configurable touchscreens for the control of the infotainment system, an HD instrument cluster on the side of the driver, and an HD secondary touchscreen for the co-passenger. This it was hoped, would offer a more dynamic and personal feeling to the layout to enhance the usability of the site.
Enhanced Comfort Features: The use of ventilated front seats, wireless charging, and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto will be expected because the demands of new-generation clients are different.
Performance
The XUV 7XO is projected to retain the existing powertrains:
Petrol Engine: A 2.0-liter turbocharged unit that offers a strong and assertive form of power.
Diesel Engine: Negotiation, is a 2.2-liter turbocharged engine that is renowned for its efficiency and Power.
Both engines are likely to be offered with 6-speed manual and automatic transmission to cater for all market segments to satisfaction.
Pricing
Pricing figures are still strictly under wraps but it could be speculated that the XUV 7XO could be priced about ₹50,000 more than the existing XUV700 for the improvements that the new model offers.
