Honda has recently launched the CGX 150; a brand-new neo-retro roadster with a vintage design and modern features. First introduced in September of 2024, the CGX 150 is planned for launch in China in the spring of 2025 and will have a base price to start at about 10000 yuan (INR 117000). 

Design and Variants

It a has circular headlamp, round rear view mirrors, fork gaiters, and a curvy fuel tank that makes it classic looking. it looks unique with bar-end dual-tone mirrors, a frame of color, a single rider seat, and a rear cowl. The fuel tank that blares the company’s color of blue, white, and red accompanies a dual-tone seat and red stripped shock absorbers at the rear. 

Engine and Performance

The CGX 150 is driven by a 149cc, single cylinder air cooled four-stroke engine that generates 12 horsepower and the motorcycle can perform at a speed of nearly 100 km per hour. It is coupled with a 5-speed gearbox to give a balanced power output optimally suited for city use. 

Chassis and Suspension

This model is designed on a steel tubular frame with a telescopic front fork and dual rear shock absorption to ensure excellent ride quality. It is provided with 17-inch spoke wheels and the braking system includes a disc for proper braking. It has a carrying capacity of 128 kg and has been designed to suit rookies as well as professional riders. 

Market Availability

First, the selling market of the Honda CGX 150 will be set in China and will be expanded to other markets depending on the changes in customers’ preferences. Its combination of classic design and rather innovative technology should appeal to motorcycle lovers of different ages.
