More so, the new formulation of the Dearness Allowance (DA) from 50% to 53% to employees shall be implemented from this month. This adjustment seeks to balance the hypocrisy caused by inflation within the employees’ salaries most especially to their purchasing powers.

Additional Allowances Improved

Alongside the DA hike, two other allowances have been revised:

– House Rent Allowance (HRA): The amount can be up to ₹8,437.50 per month depending on the work place city Employees.

– Children’s Education Allowance: Appealing employees can be paid up to ₹2,812.50 for supporting their Children Education Allowance per month.

 

These improvements have lead to increased total compensation by Rs 11,250, amount which will be added to the account of employees.
