Samsung’s Galaxy S25 series, set to launch on January 22, 2025, introduces two flagship models: the Galaxy S25 and the Galaxy S25 Ultra. Each device is equipped with pretty impressive features, and knowing how the two differ will enable you to make the best decision.

Display and Design

The standard Galaxy S25 comes with a 6.36” display while the S25 Ultra has a slightly larger screen of 6.9-inch with both having a 120Hz refresh rate for image flair. The Ultra model will feature significantly thinner bezels and a titanium frame which will make the machine even more desirable.

Performance

There is an expectation that both models will be based on the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipsets to offer the best performance. The S25 Ultra may come with higher RAM: deterministic 12 and 16 GB against 12 GB of the S25, for those who need more intensive multitasking.

Camera System

The S25 Ultra is said to have a full quad-camera setup, the main camera has a 200MP resolution where people will have better photo choices. On the other hand, the S25 model likely comprises a triple rear camera — a 50MP wide lens, suitable for daily use.

Battery and Charging

Although the actual capacities of batteries remain to be seen, the S25 Ultra seems to be packing a larger battery to feed the large screen and other enhancements of the phone. There is anticipated to be fast charging capability in both models to reduce downtime experienced by individuals.

Pricing

The spotted prices indicate the Galaxy S25 is right around ₹85,000 for the 128GB model and the S25 Ultra between ₹1,20,000 and ₹1,70,000 based on capability.

The decision of which model to prefer, the Galaxy S25 or S25 Ultra, we can make based on specific requirements and availability of the budget. The S25 model meets flagship needs with basic features, while the S25 Ultra model takes care of the power user needs.

The final specifications and prices will be disclosed by Samsung at the release of official information.
