Tata has launched new models of the Nexon and comes with added features in an attempt to offer a credible challenge to other sub-compact SUVs.
New Variants and Pricing
The 2025 Nexon lineup now includes three additional variants:
– Pure Plus: Priced range from Rs 9,69,000 (ex-showroom)
– Creative: The Tata Manza has been priced starting from ₹10.99 lakh (ex-showroom).
– Creative Plus PS: The car is available at ₹ 12.29 lakh (ex-showroom).

New Color Options
In terms of aesthetics, Tata has introduced two new color options for the Nexon:
– Grassland Beige
– Royal Blue
These replace the previous colours Fearless Purple, which gives a new look to 2025 model of the car.
Design and Features
The appearance and interior of the Nexon is similar to prior models but felts more unified in design. Notable aspects include infotainment and gauge cluster screens at 10.25 inches each, an autopilot mode for climate control plus rear air vents, Android Auto and CarPlay wireless, wireless charging for smartphones, ventilating seats at front, and sunroof. However, the advantage is that the panoramic sunroof is less expensive now, with the model being added to the Creative Plus PS trim level.
Safety
Safety still remains dear to Tata and the Nexon is proof of that as it scored 5 stars in both Global NCAP and Bharat NCAP tests. As standard the car has six airbags, 360-degree camera, child seat ISOFIX mounts, front and rear parking sensors, and TPMS.
Powertrain Options
The 2025 Nexon offers multiple powertrain options:
1.2-litre Turbo-Petrol: Delivering 120 PS and 170 Nm of torque, the vehicle can come in manual 5, manual 6, AMT 6, or DCT 7 transmission system types.
1.2-litre Turbo-Petrol with CNG: Developing 100PS and 170Nm, and comes fitted with a 6-speed manual transmission system.
1.5-litre Diesel: Having a power of 118 PS and a torque of 260 Nm, the car comes with the 6-speed manual or 6-speed AMT options.
These options are available depending on one’s driving convenience and needs out there in the market.
Market Position and Competitors
Priced at ₹7.99 lakh (ex-showroom, introductory), the Tata Nexon remains a solid player in the sub-4m SUV market that rivals models that include Maruti Brezza, Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Mahindra XUV300, Nissan Magnite, and Renault Kiger.
