Maruti Suzuki is set to expand its hybrid vehicle lineup with the introduction of two new SUVs: A new 7-seater Grand Vitara and a freshened up Fronx.
7-Seater Grand Vitara
The new 7-seater grand Vitara will however be based on the Global C architecture that is used in the new generation of the Grand Vitara and Brezza. It is widely believed, it will be using a brand-new 1.5-litre hybrid system that incorporates a petrol engine and an electric motor to boost fuel economy and in the process chopped the emissions.
