The Hero MotoCorp has relaunched the Vida V1 Plus electric scooter at ₹1.15 lakh (ex-showroom). 

Design and Features

The Vida V1 Plus again follows the current trend with a 7-inch TFT touchscreen display, keyless operation, and LED lighting. Ride08 have Eco, Ride, Sport, Custom which means that cyclists can adjust the motor according to their preference.

Performance and Specifications 

Known for its fair balance between the battery size and motorcycle’s efficiency, the V1 Plus features a 3.44 kWh battery pack that enables extended IDC range that can go up to 143 km on a single battery charge. The range of top speed is 80 km/h with the degree of passability from 0 to 40 km/h in 3.4 seconds that allows using scooter as an urban transport vehicle. 

Market Positioning and Competitors

With new pricing, the Vida V1 Plus enters is a better value for money electric scooter in the market and can well contend with the Ather 450X, Ola S1 or the TVS iQube. Through the right pricing strategy, Hero MotoCorp’s product is positioned to target a more significant proportion of the increasing market for electric vehicles in India.

Availability and Future Plans

At this moment, the Vida V1 Plus can be bought from Hero MotoCorp offline outlets and its online store. The company also intends to increase the electric vehicles production; new models in this line are planned for release within the first half of the financial year 2025.
