The latest update to Skoda’s electric SUV is called the Enyaq and it has received a new look and some added performance.

Design and Features

The revised Enyaq seems to come with the latest front design called the ‘Tech-Deck-Face’, there is a drop in the light heads, and a new strip light is added above. This concept is in tune with the current design language adopted by Skoda.

Inside the Enyaq, Skoda continues with the same minimalist interior as found in the most recent offerings such as the Superb and Kodiaq, inclusive of responsibly sourced materials. It also features 13–13-inch touch screen, new MySkoda application and improved remote park assist facilities.

Performance Enhancements

The Enyaq now offers two battery options: a 63 kWh and an 82 kWh pack, for single and dual-motor options respectively. These configurations develop power outputs between 204 PS and 286 PS. The model is equipped with a 52 kWh battery pack that gives the drivers as much as 590 kilometers of travel, which would satisfy both city and interstate travelers. Moreover, the vehicle can charge DC up to 175 kW, enhancing charging time.

Market Availability

According to the strategy, the updated model should debut across Europe by 2025, when emission standards will be tougher. In India, the Enyaak should come in the current year but the expected price may lie between ₹55 lakh and ₹65 lakh. It will go up against models such as the Kia EV6, Mercedes-Benz EQA, BMW iX1, and Volvo C40 Recharge in the Indian market.

The new and improved Skoda Enyaq boasts of both sleek artistic design and powerful form factors for buyers in the electric SUV market. The Enyaq’s longer range and faster charging capabilities as well as other upgrades will help Škoda to increase its sales in the recently emergent electric vehicle segment.
